Shenyang No.2 High School<\/span><\/b><\/span>\u00a0established in 1949, is one of the exclusive public high schools in Liaoning province. Its mandate is to provide first class teaching and to graduate top students. Since its founding, it has graduated over 20,000 students with its graduates consistently attending top universities across China.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Shenyang No. 2 High School established its second campus in 2007 at Shenbei New District which houses the Sino-Canadian program and is located thirty five kilometres northeast of downtown Shenyang. This program is jointly managed by York International Group whose headquarters is based in Canada. This program offers a Canadian curriculum that is accredited by the Department of Education in Nova Scotia.<\/span><\/p>

The program is taught entirely in English by qualified Canadian teachers with recognized degrees from Canadian institutions. All teachers have<\/span><\/p>

extensive professional teaching backgrounds and are certified by the Ministry of Education in the province of Nova Scotia .<\/span><\/p>

As of today, the program has a student enrolment of 263 students . The Ministry of Education in Shenyang restricts its enrollment to only 90 students per intake in Grade 10 so as to maintain the quality of students entering the program. Students entering the program needs to score a minimum grade of 600 in the \u201chui kao\u201d exam in order to qualify entry into the program.<\/span><\/p>

Ninety percent of our students were mostly accepted to universities and colleges in Canada and the remaining ten percent accepted in universities in the USA, Australia, the UK, and Switzerland.<\/span><\/p>

Over the past three years, Shenyang No. 2 Sino-Canadian program has garnered Canadian recognition as one of the best run offshore programs in China. The school has gained recognition by sending quality, high achieving students to universities and colleges worldwide.<\/span><\/p>

Courses at the grade 10 levels are designed to provide all learners with access to a strong foundation of common educational experiences. These courses engage students in a variety of groupings and interactions as contexts for learning and offer a range of experiences that provide both challenge and support.<\/p>

Shenyang No.2 High School (South Campus) is one of the most reputable public high schools in Liaoning Province with 54 classes of senior high school students (around 2500 students) since 1949.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div>

Its mandate is to provide first class teaching & campus facilities and to graduate top students for China. It has been ranked by China Ministry of Education as the top national senior high School in China.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div>

It has graduated over 20,000 students. The new campus located in the Shenbei New District was built in 2007. It was a big step to building a state-of-the art and the most modern international senior high school in China. It is thirty minutes by car from the main campus located in the downtown core. York International Group Inc. in Toronto is an education organization that manages the Nova Scotia Public High School Diploma Program which is being delivered in Shenyang No. 2 High School, Liaoning Province, China. It is a unique program that began in September 2007 with Grade 10.     The management team consists of both Canadian and Chinese administrators . Excellent Chinese directors and teachers are in charge of the Chinese high school courses and student life; the Canadian principal and teachers are in charge of the delivery of the Canadian curriculum which is the core component of the program .     Shenyang No.2 High School consists of several buildings that contain classrooms for grades 10 to 12. All classrooms are equipped with a projector and an Internet connection.<\/span><\/p>

    There are state of the art Chemistry and Physics laboratories, a computer lab, library, a large theatre and two auditoriums.<\/p>

    Students are housed in dormitories that are in a separate area of the campus with student cafeteria that serves food three meals a day.<\/span><\/p>

      The mode of instruction in all of the classes in the Canadian curriculum is entirely in English.
